Our Cause
Join us to run, walk, or simply cheer for UR Well, a Univeristy of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry student-run free clinic.

We are committed to providing health care free of charge to our patients. The annual 5K is the clinic's sole fundraiser, and the funds raised will enable us to continue providing quality, comprehensive wellness care to our patients.

As of 2015, about 32.9% of those in Rochester lived below the poverty level and 29% of adults were discontinuously inusured. UR Well attempts to fill a gap in this healthcare landscape by providing primary care, education, and linkage to insurance coverage for those who are eligible. We also serve as a bridge to the formal healthcare system, providing access to free specialty care and ushering our patients into long term medical care through St. Joe's Neighborhood Center.

Services Offered at UR Well:
  • Acute Care (flu shots, point of care testing)
  • Quality Primary Care for Longitudinal Patients
  • Meals through UR Well Fed
  • Smoking Cessation Counseling
  • School and Work Physicals
  • Specialty Care (select nights):
    • Endocrinology
    • Ophthalmology
    • Dermatology
    • Neurology
    • Musculoskeletal Disorders

Our Mission
To provide free, high-quality preventative and health maintenance services to the uninsured and underserved populations of the Rochester area, while promoting the spirit of education, social justice, and collaboration.
