Please help On My Team16 and myself #ClimbCancer.

 

On November 19, 2022 I will be climbing 20 flights of stairs (338 steps to be exact), in the the tallest building in downtown Syracuse, NY, the State Tower Building.

 

I will be climbing for Bryce Bechtel. I don’t know Bryce personally but I know his mom, Tina.  My mom and I have been going to Tina for 17-18 years to get our haircut.

 

in December of 2017, I became a platelet donor.  In April 2018, I had gone to see Tina and we were talking while I was in the chair. I had mentioned that I started donating and we had discussed what and how it benefits.   About a month later, I had received a message from Tina thanking me for being a donor and told me that Bryce was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and had needed several units of platelets and blood.  
 

After 3 1/2 years of treatment, Bryce beat cancer!!
