So it's the summer, and once again I've decided to be a crazy person and do the NYC Triathlon again. Of course, it's swimming in the lovely Hudson River, biking up the pothole-ridden West Side Highway, and then running through the most famous park in the world: Central Park. So why do I keep doing this to myself? Why do I do these things? It's simple, I'm a crazy person. But, I do it for the challenge against myself and my ability to give back to those who are less fortunate. This is my second year that I have raised money for OHEL, because they allow me access to compete in the Triathlon, and it's because they truly help individuals who have physical and mental barriers become a part of society.
Because of the reasons listed above, mostly because I'm a crazy person and doing this for the second year in a row, I am raising money to support OHEL and their great deeds and asking you to help me get to the triathlon! Now in typical Danny fashion, this is being sent in under two weeks until the triathlon, which is August 4th (next Sunday, no big deal). So I am raising $1,500 to be a part of this historic race and to assist Ohel in their continued work to assist those who are challenged. I would greatly appreciate if you assisted me in my goal. And as a reward, I will give you a three-armed hug (a possible result of swimming in the Hudson River) right after I finish my Hudson River swim.
I truly appreciate of your support and look forward to giving you all a three-armed hug. The link for donating is: http://www.wizathon.com/teamohel/?p=display&action=participant_Page&id=4744
Thanks and looking forward to seeing you all at the finish line in Central Park on August 3rd!
