My name is Cara Tolmas and I was born and raised in Dallas, TX. I attended Jewish Day School until high school and then switched to public school. After high school, I participated in an international Jewish history travel program called Kivunim that was based in Israel. Following my gap year, I attended the University of Michigan where I studied Kinesiology (Movement Science). I was a manager for the women’s basketball team and a research assistant in the behavioral biomechanics laboratory. I am a Certified Exercise Physiologist with a specialty in mindful movement. After working at Functional Fitness in Ann Arbor, MI, I moved to Israel where I am currently practicing as a movement therapist.
Leading up to the Jerusalem Marathon, I will be available to help you get in shape for whichever course you decide to participate in. I will provide you with training tips, nutritional help, and general guidance on your journey to reaching the finish line. Please feel free to contact me anytime at firstname.lastname@example.org.
