Hello friends and family!
 
I am so excited to share that I am helping organize the iANDA! 5K for HAVEN Free Clinic on October 5th! HAVEN is a student-run free clinic here in New Haven that provides comprehensive primary care, mental health, social services, and health education to community members completely free of charge.
 
Being a part of this organization has been truly transformative for me. I have seen firsthand the impact HAVEN has in bridging gaps in care and supporting our patients with dignity, compassion, and respect. Every dollar raised from this 5K goes directly towards medications, lab tests, and specialty referrals for patients who might otherwise go without the care they need.

All proceeds from this event will support HAVEN Free Clinic, a non-profit organization that partners with Yale University to provide comprehensive primary care services to members of the New Haven community free-of-charge. 
 
We are a student-run clinic that has provided comprehensive primary care at no cost to uninsured patients in New Haven for the past 23 years. In 2022 alone, we cared for over 1,000 of our community members. The annual 5K race, our signature fundraising event, typically raises 70% of our total annual departmental budget.
