3. What Does Pledging to the Run Mean, Exactly?
By being a part of this event you are an invaluable part of helping grieving children. By running in memory of a loved one, you are honoring them and helping your own heart to heal. By fundraising, you are ensuring that there is a spot for the children that will walk through the doors of Journey of Hope next week, month, and year.

If you are running in memory of a loved one, we want you to know how proud we are of you in finding a way to do something positive with your grief and to honor your loved one.

We are raising funds to help expand our program further so we can increase our capacity to help 300 more children and families! As the only no-fee grief support program for children in Collin County, we are the only organization to help many of our families. Currently, children from nine counties drive in to Plano and to Frisco on school nights to find help for their children. Your funds will help us to reach more kids.

We wish you all the success possible! Train, set and achieve new goals, enjoy the run… and get all the sponsors you can so when you cross that finish line, we will all be winners – you, and all the families we in our community that need our help!
