Frequently Asked Questions

What is The Yiddishe Cup?
The Yiddishe Cup is an event organizer that produces sporting events catering mainly to athletes in the Jewish community and their specific needs.

Our fundraising events are designed to allow multiple charitable organizations to participate at a singular event together, eliminating all the hassle and costs of creating their own event. Registered athletes now have the opportunity to raise money for the charity of their choice.

Created by Jewish pro athletes, we provide all the amenities of a professional event while maintaining the needs of the Jewish participant such as all kosher food, non Shabbos dates, prayer service, etc. Basically, we’ve got you covered, go have a blast!

When is this event?
The 2018 Yiddishe Cup event will take place on Wednesday, July 4, 2018.

Where will this event take place?
76 and 100 mile routes, from Gettysburg, PA historical sites, down through central Maryland, municipal forests, protected watersheds, and the Catoctin Mountain National Park. You'll enjoy gorgeous scenery, very smooth roads and practically no traffic. We are planning 3-4 timed trial segments to include a nice long climb, a couple miles of flat segment, and a 8 mile decent. All these segments are timed for overall points. Team and individual results will go towards awards, trophies and a huge “Split the Pot” cash prize to top team's charity!
