Waynewood Elementary Jog-A-Thon
Let's get running! This year, we are aiming to raise $65,000! Students will participate in a Jog-A-Thon on Monday, September 22nd during school!
WHAT IS THE JOG-A-THON?

The Jog-A-Thon is a school wide event in which all students and teachers participate to raise money for the school.

Students will begin collecting donations on Sept 1. On Monday, September 22, during school hours, students will run or walk laps for 15 minutes while listening to music from the DJ.
WHY THE JOG-A-THON?

The Jog-A-Thon is organized and run by our PTA. All proceeds collected go directly back to the school. Money raised will go towards:

classroom programming

grade level and specialist support

The Jog-A-Thon is a great way to combine fundraising with a fun, physical activity for our students.
WHAT ARE THE GOALS OF THE JOG-A-THON?

To be the major PTA fundraiser for the school year by raising $65,000

Increase physical fitness awareness while providing a fun team building experience
WHAT DO THE CHILDREN DO FOR THE JOG-A-THON?

Use their “Sample Letters” to encourage supporters to donate online

Proudly wear their Jog-A-Thon 2025 t-shirt the day of the run

Run/walk as many laps for 15 minutes while listening to the DJ spin some tunes
HOW TO DONATE?

We are accepting donations online at wizathon.com/waynewood-jogathon. To donate: Find the team you want to sponsor. Click on sponsor link under the team and then click sponsor my team. Once you are here, be sure to include the STUDENT'S NAME you are sponsoring in the "Message in Honor/Memory" box so all monies can be tallied correctly.

If you have multiple children donations are per child for prizes, not family, so donate separately to each child.
WHAT ABOUT VOLUNTEERING? Volunteer before or on the day of the run: guide classes to field, oversee water station or check off laps. Volunteer sign up coming soon!
