MY STORY
I am so excited to participate in the National Walk To End Brain Tumors - New Egypt. Money raised from this event will be used for brain tumor research.

Today nearly 700,000 people in the United States are living with a primary brain tumor, and more than 69,000 others will be diagnosed this year. Brain tumors are often deadly, impact quality of life, and change everything for patients and their loved ones.

As you may know in February 2005, I had my first craniotomy (brain surgery).  The tumor unfortunately grew back and I had my second craniotomy in August 2011 followed by radiation. I have a wonderful family and supportive friends that have stood by me through it all. I have phenomenal doctors that review my MRI’s every 6 months. I thank God every day that he gave me another day on Earth. I pray every day that we will find a cure and no one will have to deal with this or any type of cancer.  If the worst thing that happened is me having to take medicine every day, I will take it!  Thanks everyone for your support!
