We are so excited to participate in the MN Brain Tumor 5K! Money raised from this event will be used for brain tumor research.

 

Today nearly 700,000 people in the United States are living with a primary brain tumor, and more than 69,000 others will be diagnosed this year. Brain tumors are often deadly, impact quality of life, and change everything for patients and their loved ones.

 

On July 7, 2018 Bill became one of the 700,000. He was diagnosed with a primary grade 4 Glioblastoma brain tumor (GBM) in his right frontal lobe. GBMs are a very aggressive form of cancer. He had surgery on July 10th to have the tumor removed. Bill's cancer has been in remission for almost 4 years. On February 7, 2022, during one of his three-month MRIs, we were told that Bill's cancer had returned. Bill had laser surgery on March 17th and began radiation and infusion therapy. 

 

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we bring you this news. Bill lost his fight with glioblastoma on August 3, 2023. Bill was a great life partner, father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend. He is missed every day.
