If you have further questions, please reach out to Jennifer Seybold at 303-557-8779 or [email protected]

2. What does the event look like?
Participant registration is a flat fee for participation in the 4 hour pub-crawl event, which will take place rain or shine.

Registration Check-In and Kick-Off is from 6-7pm at Strange Craft Brewing.

Speakers and activities will run through 10pm, with door prizes and fun activities happening at each stop and in between.

3. I will be running late. Can I catch up with you guys?
Yes! Please watch your email for event details and feel free to jump online anytime during the event.

4. What does participation and pledge gathering mean, exactly?
By committing to this event, and pledging to raise money for its success, you are helping raise invaluable funds to support the work of The Denver VOICE!

We are dedicated to facilitating a dialogue addressing the roots of homelessness by telling stories of people whose lives are impacted by poverty and homelessness and to offer economic, educational, and empowerment opportunities for the impoverished community.

All proceeds raised from Pint Fighting Poverty Pub Crawl will allow us to continue to deliver quality programs that help our vendors meet basic needs, reinforce self-sufficiency, and regain control of their lives.

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR PLEDGE GOALS!  We wish you all the success possible. Participate, set and achieve a fundraising goal, engage your network to raise homelessness and poverty awareness, enjoy the Pub Crawl!

5. How can my supporters in pledging submit payment?
Online contributions can be made by credit card on the participant’s personalized page found on this page. Just make sure to tell your sponsors to select your name, or team name, from the list of participants.

6. I am concerned that I might not be able to raise the required funds. Will I be able to do it?
First, off there is no obligation - we just hope you'll be excited to help us raise funds and grow our impact. You won't be penalized in anyway if you don't reach the goal you set. But, even if you've never raised money before, our materials and strategies will make it easy for you to solicit and collect pledges from friends, family, colleagues, neighbors, and others. It is not only possible, but enjoyable, to set and reach your goals.

Please refer to the sample letters found on your personal fundraising page center, that explains the programs the pub crawl supports, and you will be surprised to see how quickly friends, family, and co-workers will respond to your request to help.
Just remember to make it personal as well, as you want them to know that they are sponsoring YOU and YOUR efforts too! And, as many companies offer charitable donation matching programs, make sure to ask your pledge participants to check with their employers, as it will help you meet your goal ever more quickly.

If you are hosting as a Home Host, ask your guests to make a gift and remind them that they can help you reach your fundraising goal by spreading the word to their networks too.

7. Is there a refund/exchange policy?
Yes. If a donation was made accidentally or for the wrong amount, simply make us aware of the issue and we will be happy to make any necessary refunds, changes or corrections. Participant registration fees are non-refundable.

8. Is there transportation available to pub crawl stops?
All stops are within walking distance of one another. Please park your car and join the group to walk through the neighborhood loop visiting each stop.

9. What do I need to bring?
Please bring your ID. You must be 21 years or older to participate and IDs will be checked at registration.

Bring with you a proof of registration just in case you do not show up on our list.

Dress appropriately for the weather. November can be chilly in Colorado. We will be providing transportation for those who wish to use it, but it’s a good idea to bundle up.

10. What does my $25 registration include?
Your registration guarantees your spot on the tour, lets you hear great stories from The VOICE, and buys your 2021 Pints Fighting Poverty t-shirt and drink discount access at each of our participating stops.

The ticket price is not a donation (it is the cost of your ticket to participate). Drinks will still need to be purchased on-site but will be discounted specifically for our participating guests - just show your wrist band!

It's also important to note that if you pledge to support another participant, you are making a donation to The Denver VOICE in doing so. That donation does not buy you a ticket to the event, but is a 100% tax deductible gift to the VOICE that helps the participant you pledge to reach his/her goal to help the VOICE.

11. Is there parking near the tour kick-off?
Parking is somewhat limited at our kick-off space so we encourage you to rideshare or catch an Uber/Lyft. If you do bring your car know that you can park in the lot out front for the duration of the pub crawl.
