TEAM STORY
On March 27, 2015, we lost our beloved Eleanor when I was 25 weeks, 5 days pregnant due to complications from Noonan syndrome.  Eleanor was too sick to be saved, but other babies CAN be saved if parents, doctors and nurses know the signs of fetal distress.

Some 26,000 babies in the United States are stillborn each year, and in many cases, the cause is unknown.  Tim and I at least have peace knowing why Eleanor didn't survive. Other heartbroken parents deserve answers, too.

We're also dedicated to improving maternal care, especially after a stillbirth.  Two weeks after Eleanor was delivered, I developed a pulmonary embolism in each lung and had to be re-hospitalized.

Money we raise from these two 5Ks will support our chapter's doctor/nurse education programs on perinatal loss and stillbirth prevention.  We also plan to create peer support groups for grieving families.

We told Eleanor many times as we held her that we would make sure something positive comes out of our tragedy.  Please support us in our effort to keep that promise.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

With Love,
Theresa & Tim
