On February 20th, 2015, Lt. Mark Donohue, an Engine 40 firefighter for 11 years and currently assigned to the 47 Battalion, and his wife gave birth to a baby girl named Jane Elizabeth. She was Stillborn. They were devastated and heart broken. In dealing with their grief and loss, they teamed up with some amazing people from their support group to start The Star Legacy Foundation NY Metro Chapter. The Star Legacy Foundation is a nationally recognized charity who has been taking amazing steps in increasing awareness, providing support for the grieving, and funding much needed research. This is their first event as a chapter. Please help support Mark & Amanda and in Mark's own words..." I really want to start making a difference in this real and growing problem and I WANT TO CRUSH THIS FUNDRAISER."
