I worked with J-ADD from 1998 - 2011. During that time, the organization grew from 3 homes to 7 homes in addition to a series of apartments serving individuals with special needs. I left in 2011 to pursue a different career opportunity, but I returned in 2021 and I am thrilled to be back. During the time I was gone, a brand new state of the art group home was opened in Teaneck (the Bressman Home) and several of the other homes were completely or partially renovated (including adding accessibility where it didn't exist before). Being part of the J-ADD family means so much more to me than just being where I work.
J-ADD helps adults with developmental disabilities reach their full potential while living a full Jewish life in a kosher home and participating in the surrounding community.
The J-ADD Walk-a-Thon is the major fundraising event for the year. Your donation here helps J-ADD to provide these services and home improvements.
