I am so excited to be participating in the iANDA! 5K for HAVEN Free Clinic on October 16, 2022. HAVEN offers free medical services, social services, legal services, reproductive consults, and more to folks without health insurance in New Haven. I am one of the directors of the legal department, so I can attest to the amazing work of this clinic - we work primarily with Spanish-speaking clients, and we are often their main source of services. The one-stop-shop nature of the clinic also means we can often do preventative care - both medically and legally. All proceeds from this event will support the HAVEN Free Clinic.

All proceeds from this event will support HAVEN Free Clinic, a non-profit organization that partners with Yale University to provide comprehensive primary care services to members of the New Haven community free-of-charge.
We are a student-run clinic that has provided comprehensive primary care at no cost to uninsured patients in New Haven for the past 16 years. In 2019 alone, we cared for over 650 of our community members. The annual 5K race, our signature fundraising event, typically raises 70% of our total annual departmental budget.
