Five years ago, Calvin Stephen Brandert was born into heaven (June 26, 2011). Katie's water broke at 22.5 weeks and a few short days later, we were forced to deliver due to complications. Calvin was too little to survive or thrive outside the womb. We held him as long as we could and said goodbye.

 

We were never given a reason why this all happened...why our son was stillborn.

 

Calvin was our second son, and Katie's first born. He is missed each and every day.
