TEAM STORY
Hello Everyone,

In an effort to continue to honor my late father, Dave Charnock, I have decided to start a new tradition of participating in the Annual Pittsburgh walk/run to End Brain Tumors.  The event will take place on Sunday May 15th at North Park.  I wanted to invite you all to participate with me.

It has been over three years now since my dad has passed away from brain cancer and I still miss him so much every day.  He was such a positive person that was so encouraging and always gave the best advice. He believed that there would someday be a cure for brain cancer.  I’ve created Team DAC as a way to honor him during the Annual Pittsburgh walk/run to End Brain Tumors.  He ran many races throughout his life and I thought he would have loved to participate in something like this.  I’m hoping to get as many people as we can to join us as part of Team DAC to remember and honor Dave.

You can register for the event under Team DAC if you are able to participate or if you aren’t able to participate you can also sponsor Team DAC.  All money raised from this event will be used to fund brain tumor research and clinical trials that insurance does not cover locally in the Pittsburgh area.

If you have any questions about registering or sponsoring Team DAC please don’t hesitate to reach out to me and I’d be glad to help answer them.  Thank you for supporting such a worthy cause and for keeping the memory of my dad alive.  Please also pass this information along to your family and friends that you think may be interested in participating also.

Sincerely,
Christine Sevin
