A Message Regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus)
The health and safety of our participants, volunteers and sponsors is our highest priority. As such, we have been closely following updates about COVID-19 (coronavirus) in order to determine the most responsible way to move forward with this year’s event.

After careful thought, and in recognition of CDC recommendations warning against mass gatherings, this walk will be converting to a virtual event. So, although there will not be an in-person walk, the fundraising for brain tumor research will go on! And don’t worry  ̶  so will the fun! I am dedicated to providing engaging content and fundraising activities leading up to and during the virtual event.

Then, on Saturday, May 30, we will all walk and honor all those effected by a brain tumor from wherever we may be. Whether it be a jog around your neighborhood, a walk at a local park, or even a cool 20 minutes on your treadmill. Maybe you want to honor the day over lunch or at a small gathering. This year it’s a Walk To End Brain Tumors  ̶  your way!

So what’s next?

First, keep fundraising! Secondly, remember that no matter the changes coming our way, the one thing that stays the same is our 100% commitment to brain tumor research. Continue to share your cause and drive awareness and donations. While you do that, I'll be busy at work revamping event details for the virtual format.

In the meantime, I ask for your patience as I make the changes necessary to make this year’s event, although a little different, one of the best and most successful yet. If you have any questions about these changes, please contact me.

Watch for more information and virtual event details coming. Until then, be well, stay safe and continue to support one another during these trying times. My sincerest thoughts are with all of you and I appreciate your commitment to brain tumor research and awareness.

Thank you,

Bruce Blount
