I wanted to let you know that so am so excited to participate in the MN Brain Tumor 5k. Money raised from this event will go toward brain tumor research.
Brain tumor facts:
There are more than 120 types of brain tumors
Today nearly 700,000 people in the United States are living with a primary brain tumor
More than 69,000 people will be diagnosed this year
More than 4,600 children between the ages of 0-9 will be diagnosed with a brain tumor this year
Nearly 14,000 people will lose their battle with a brain tumor this year
Brain tumors are often deadly, impact quality of life, and change everything for patients and their loved ones. Research dollars are desperately needed as this is a severely underfunded cause.
