This is an event near and dear to my heart and I look forward to running in it again. My best friend, Abi, fought hard against her glioblastoma. Life has not been the same without her, but the impact she's had on many will last a life time. Money raised from this event will be used for brain tumor research.
Today nearly 700,000 people in the United States are living with a primary brain tumor, and more than 69,000 others will be diagnosed this year. Brain tumors are often deadly, impact quality of life, and change everything for patients and their loved ones.
