This is our eighth MN Brain Tumor 5K, we walk again in memory of a fabulous man, but we know he will be walking beside us in spirit. Please consider a donation to help researchers find a cure to this horrible disease.
In the summer of 2015, while doing yard work my husband, Jeff, started getting spasms in his left hand. He thought they were from overuse and they would go away.
In October of that year the spasms spread to his leg and he began feeling light headed and noticed that his left arm and leg were weakened. In November 2015, Jeff was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme, stage 4 brain cancer. Jeff and I were told that all the treatments could help buy time, but that a cure is currently unavailable.
From November 2015 to December 2017, Jeff valiantly battled through the original tumor and 3 recurrences with 1 surgery, 3 different rounds of radiation, Optune and 3 different chemotherapy treatments to no avail. There is no cure.

Jeff's journey with the disease came to an end in December of 2017, but not without great love, bravery and sacrifice.
Please consider a donation to help with brain tumor research, my prayer is that no other person or family will have to walk this journey. God Bless and Stay in your Day!
100% of every dollar raised from this event will go toward important brain tumor research, through the Musella Foundation for Brain Tumor Research & Information, Inc. 100% of event costs are generously paid for by local and national sponsors.
