I am so excited to participate in the 2023 in person walk run MN Brain Tumor 5K! Money raised from this event will be used for brain tumor research. This will be at the Stillwater Area High School in Oak Parks, MN. I am officially a 9 year survivor.
On May 2, 2014 the doctors at Regions hospital sprung into action when I came in that day. The Fourth ventricular subependymoma was removed by Dr Mendez and his team. Without them I would not been able to write my book "How I survived a Brain Tumor?" which is on Amazon. I would not been able to come up with my quote "If I can Beat a Brain Tumor What Makes Make you Think Im going to Let Life Beat Me?" -2017 Nyleve Eiram. Since then I have given speeches on my Brain Tumor and how I survived it.
This cause is very special to me and I am glad That I am able to participate in it again.
Today nearly 700,000 people in the United States are living with a primary brain tumor, and more than 69,000 others will be diagnosed this year. Brain tumors are often deadly, impact quality of life, and change everything for patients and their loved ones.
