100% of every dollar raised from this event will go toward important brain tumor research, through the Musella Foundation for Brain Tumor Research & Information, Inc.  100% of event costs are generously paid for by local and national sponsors.
MY STORY
I am so excited to participate in the MN Brain Tumor 5K! Money raised from this event will be used for brain tumor research.

I am raising money in honor of my mom, Eileen Decorah, who sadly lost her short battle with cancer in March 2017. She was diagnosed with Stage 3 Glioblastoma in August 2016. She had surgery where they removed 99% of the tumor. She underwent chemo and radiation treatment but sadly that wasn't enough. She developed another tumor in another part of her brain. She remained positive and hopeful throughout her treatment but she never recovered.

Today nearly 700,000 people in the United States are living with a primary brain tumor, and more than 69,000 others will be diagnosed this year. Brain tumors are often deadly, impact quality of life, and change everything for patients and their loved ones.
