Two year's ago my mom, Anne Bolstad, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. If it wasn't for the incredible doctors and their research, I may not be able to be walking with my mom this year! This was a hard time for mom, she fought harder than I thought anyone could.

 

She showed me what true "grit" is, as she walked through the fear of being diagnosed with a brain tumor, going through 9.5 hours of surgery, and the pain of recovery. Through that entire time, she cared for her family, watched video clips of my soccer games, and worried more about me and my brother than she did about herself. I am asking for any amount of money to be donated to help with brain tumor research.

 

I am so excited participate in the 2023 MN Brain Tumor 5K! Money raised from this event will be used for brain tumor research.

 

Today nearly 700,000 people in the United States are living with a primary brain tumor, and more than 69,000 others will be diagnosed this year.
