MY STORY
We are so excited to participate in the MN Brain Tumor 5K! Money raised from this event will be used for brain tumor research.

Over the years, the Musella Foundation has awarded 180+ research grants, totaling more than $6 million, for brain tumor research. They prioritize research that is likely to lead to breakthroughs, and they favor research on low-toxicity treatments.

On July 7, 2018 Bill was diagnosed with a primary grade 4 Glioblastoma brain tumor (GBM) in his right frontal lobe. GBMs are a very aggressive form of cancer. He had surgery on July 10th to have the tumor removed. Bill's cancer has been in remission for almost 4 years. On February 7, 2022, during one of his three-month MRIs, we were told that Bill's cancer had returned. Bill had laser surgery on March 17th and began radiation and infusion therapy.

Bill lost his fight with glioblastoma nearly two years ago on August 3, 2023. Bill was a great life partner, father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend. He is missed every day.

Bill - We know you are having fun playing all the softball you want in heaven without getting tired and without pain.
