I was diagnosed with a Grade 4 Astrocytoma in January 2023. I went through 30 rounds of radiation combined with 40 low doses of oral chemotherapy, followed by another year of higher dose chemo, and will complete treatment in March of 2024.
I am so grateful for the support of my husband, our family, friends, neighbors and co-workers throughout my treatment. I am excited to have a chance to pay it forward and raise money that will go towards research and cures for brain tumors and brain cancers
Today nearly 700,000 people in the United States are living with a primary brain tumor, and more than 69,000 others will be diagnosed this year. Brain tumors are often deadly, impact quality of life, and change everything for patients and their loved ones.
