Inclement Weather Plan

The safety of our participants and volunteers is our primary concern. In the event of inclement weather, the race will attempt to continue under the following circumstances:

Lightning: The event will be postponed by 30 minutes. If lightening is closer than 6 miles away at 9:00 AM using the Flash to Bang method, then the race may be postponed by 30 minutes or moved inside to indoor facilities.

Rain: The event will NOT be cancelled due to rain alone. Some event details may change however, depending on strength of the rain. Participants will be informed of such a change via announcements race day

Tornado warning: The race will be cancelled in the event of a tornado warning. Check our Facebook page or website in the event of cancellation.

T-shirts and prizes may not be mailed in the event of cancellation. Further details will be made available as needed.
