We are so excited to participate in the Race/Walk for Brain Cancer. Money raised from this event will be used for brain tumor research.
Today nearly 700,000 people in the United States are living with a primary brain tumor, and more than 69,000 others will be diagnosed this year. Brain tumors are often deadly, impact quality of life, and change everything for patients and their loved ones.
We know this first hand - Gila's amazing, sweet, vibrant, hilarious brother, Ari ז״ל lost his life at only 31 years old to a glioblastoma. He was strong, funny, kind-hearted, and a math wizard. He loved being outdoors, surfing, playing basketball, tennis and he hated to lose a game! He Loved Rutgers, his family, his friends and GOOD FOOD!
Audrey's dad, Bob ז״ל, lost his life to the same tumor at 57 years old. He was the smartest person imaginable with a dry sense of humor and a subtle kindness that was unmatched. They probably would have gotten along well. Bob was also strong, funny, and loved a challenge. He loved traveling, boating, his family, his friends, and GOOD FOOD!
Fast forward several years and Audrey is fighting her own fight with a similar tumor. We want to make sure she is here to watch her kids grow up. They need her and she needs to be here for them!
We hope so much that you will come and walk with us. It will be fun and you get to hang with us - win-win. We also get that it's hella early and kind of far. Second best is a donation. The money goes directly to the Musella Foundation which is an amazing organization that actually funds projects and trials so you can be sure your donation won't get lost in bureaucracy.
Thanks so much.and we hope you’ll join us
