Habitat for Humanity York County is a non-profit housing organization that brings together low-income families, volunteers, donors, and communities to create safe, decent and affordable housing opportunities for low-income families.  Founded in 1985, Habitat has completed 28 safe, energy-efficient, affordable homes and weatherized more than 130 homes in York County. Our latest home was completed in May in Wells.  These homes not only make a life changing difference for the partner families, they are community assets as well. Over the past 31 years. Habitat for Humanity homes have contributed a cumulative total of an estimated $825,000 in property taxes to municipalities throughout York County. Habitat houses truly build home, community, and hope.
