November 20th is the 2022 virtual strides for stripes zebra walk across America. Our team, Powers Strong, is raising money for the Neuroendocrine Cancer Awareness Network. Money raised from the Strides for Stripes event goes directly to programs that assist Neuroendocrine and Carcinoid Cancer (NET) patients.
For those who don't know, our Dad/Papa/Bob was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroendocrine Cancer in 2020. The rarity of carcinoid and NETS can result in misdiagnosis for many years. It typically takes a patient about 5-7 years to receive the correct diagnosis. It is crucial to spread awareness to help current and future patients of NETS.
