Most of you said "what kind of cancer is that"? I said the same thing when I first heard it. It is a rare form of cancer that has not had much spotlight even though it has taken some famous folks like Steve Jobs (Apple) and Dave Thomas (Wendy's). Not much is known about it and their are not a lot of treatment options. Duke University and other Research Hospitals are trying to do more Clinical Trials and Research to find treatment options and maybe a cure.
That is why I am excited to be participating in the Virtual Strides and Stripes Zebra Walk 2017. Money raised from this event will be used for programs that assist Neuroendocrine and Carcinoid Cancer (NET) patients, such as our NET Cancer Hotline, Patient Conferences, and educational webinars.
For many years I have walked for Alzheimers and I still will, I would like to add this worthy cause that has personally effected me.
Please help by sponsoring me.
