Friends, this has to be one of my favorite events.
It's that time of year again and Team Darkaynu is gearing up for another fantastic run in the Jerusalem Marathon! On Friday, March 17th, our special students, dedicated staff, families, and friends will join more than 35,000 others as they proudly run, jog, and walk through the majestic hills of our Holy City.
Our runners take pride in their efforts as they spread Darkaynu's message of inclusion at this one-of-a-kind event. The mission of the Elaine and Norm Brodsky Darkaynu Programs is to foster healthy self-esteem, independence, and a sense of belonging as students with a range of abilities and diagnosed disabilities enjoy Torah Study, vocational training, and independent living as well as the full range of extracurricular activities enjoyed by their mainstream neighbors, relatives, and friends – including running a 10k in the Jerusalem Marathon.
Please help me help them! This cause is very important to me as I see what YOUR support helps THEM to accomplish. Dig deep and spread the word!
