MY STORY
Hi,

My name is Melody, also known as April's sister.  April was diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome at the age of 9.  April celebrated her 49th birthday this past November.

We participated in the walk for the first time last year; it was heartwarming, but at the same time heartbreaking.  To see these families and children dealing with the various stages of Sanfilippo.   We decided last year that in 2019 we would have a team to honor April and the fight she continues to fight.

With that said, please join April’s Angels for the Super Eliza 5K on March 30th.  The theme for the walk this year is super heroes. You don’t have to walk to show your support; come out, enjoy the day, and let your presence show these children and families how much their local community cares. Money raised from this event will be used for urgent research to bring more clinical trial options to children and provide hope to the families who are desperately seeking a resolution for this debilitating disease.

Registration starts at 8AM and Walk/Run starts at 9AM at the Blatt Center in Columbia SC.
Share with your family and friends.
