Hi all, thanks you for sponsoring me in this walk my mum lost her battle with NET's earlier this year and we are raising funds to help both find a cure and raise awareness into this rare type of cancer. This disease often goes undiagnosed because the symptoms are difficult to attribute to NET's, the more awareness we can raise within the professional community as well as individually the more prepared we will be to fight this together. She was a vibrant soul who liked to travel as much as she could and would be happy to know we are doing this walk in her honour xx
Any monies raised will go directly to the NET foundation which provides funding to cancer patients, caregivers and research as well as educational seminars every little helps, thank you!
the Neuroendocrine Cancer Awareness Network. Money raised from the Strides for Stripes event goes directly to programs that assist Neuroendocrine and Carcinoid Cancer (NET) patients, such as our NET Cancer Hotline, Patient Conferences, and other programs that help neuroendocrine cancer patients.
We're a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of Neuroendocrine Cancer, providing support for caregivers and people with NETs, and funding for NET cancer research. Since 2003, it has been our mission, or as we like to say, our passion, to educate and support the NET community as a whole. That’s our thing.
