I’m deeply grateful to Hashem to be able to take part once again in the Step Up for Shearim run-a-thon—my third year supporting a cause that is truly meaningful to me.  This isn’t just a race with prizes for the winners, but it is a journey of hope, kindness, and community. Every year I am reminded how special our community is and how powerful it can be when we come together for a cause that really matters.

 

This event is especially meaningful to me because the money we raise goes directly toward student scholarships, helping families who are working hard to give their children the best education possible. Shearim stands as a beacon of compassion—offering not only education but also understanding and opportunity. I’ve seen firsthand how Shearim steps in with compassion, understanding, and a genuine desire to make a difference. 

 

While I compete in the Step Up for Shearim, I think of the students whose lives and dreams are touched by this support. Every donation, every bit of encouragement, helps turn those dreams into something real. So, I’m stepping up not only with a stretch donation, but also with gratitude, with purpose, and with faith that together we can make a difference. As a member of the Board of Directors for the past 15 years, I’ve seen how much Shearim gives to its students and community, and I want to do my part to give back.
