Join The Walnut Club team and help us raise money to support Philly girls and families.

 

The Walnut Club is honored to participate once again in the Annual Sojourner Truth Walk: Celebrating Girls' & Women’s Leadership. This is an amazing opportunity to honor the women and girls we admire.

Funds raised through this event will be used to provide scholarships for girls to go to Camp Sojourner, girlsleadershipcamp.org/, which supports Philadelphia girls, regardless of their economic background, so they have the opportunity to take charge of their own lives and be agents of positive change in their communities.

This fundraiser will also help support year-round leadership activities, including online programming efforts, which are free for girls and families.

It costs $1,200 for one girl to attend this week-long overnight summer camp. Not every family can afford tuition so Camp Sojourner charges families on a sliding scale and they pay what they can afford. With your support, some families will pay almost nothing.
