I am so excited to be participating in the Randolph Rocks Virtual 5K! As a REF board member I have been able to witness first hand how the money raised from this event makes a difference for students and teachers in the Randolph Schools. I see it in the smiles in the students and teachers faces as they discover the world through the innovative programs sponsored through the Next Practices Grants. I see it in the thank you notes from the recipients of the giftcards that get delivered twice a year through our second pair of jeans program. I see it in the hopes and aspirations written in the essays of the seniors who receive the scholarships each year and who are in the first generation of their families to attend college. I see it in the joy of our outstanding teachers, community members, and students who are honored at our Randolph Rock Stars Celebration. I see it in the happiness of the bus drivers at the Annual Bus Drivers Appreciation Brunch. And I also see it in the enthusiasm from the community members and local businesses who despite the tough times rally around us in support of our mission by sponsoring or registering for the Randolph Rocks 5k!
