My name is Elisha Rosensweig and I have spent the last two years learning in Israel.

 

This winter, I have been training for the Jerusalem Marathon as I will be running as part of team OHEL Camp Kaylie in a few weeks on March 9.  Last summer I was a counselor in Camp Kaylie and personally witnessed the unique experience of this important program.

 

OHEL serves individuals who struggle with various life hurdles. From extreme circumstances (crises) to day-to-day challenges, OHEL is there to support our community.

 

Running in the Jerusalem Marathon this year is MY chance to reach something greater! (Of course, this challenge will help me to attain impressive bragging rights, check something off my bucket list, and spend time on the streets of our Homeland!)  But, I’m doing this because I know that OHEL and Camp Kaylie deeply impact the lives of children with disabilities.
