I am so excited to be participating in the Jerusalem Marathon 2018! Funds raised from this event will be dedicated to Camp Kaylie, an amazing Inclusion program that benefits hundreds of campers annually and encourages personal growth and communal dedication.  Camp Kaylie is an integral part of my life.  I have been involved with the program since its inception 8 years ago and am proud to serve as Assistant Director. 

 

Kaylie is much more than a summer camp. It is a one-of-a-kind place that lives and breathes and inspires kindness, sensitivity and acceptance.  It is a place where people are not defined by their inabilities, but are recognized and applauded for their unique abilities.  It is a place where smiles and laughter are contagious.  It is a place where people can stop pretending to be what others expect them to be and are comfortable just being themselves.  It is a place that many of us call "home."

 

To show my love for Kaylie, I am getting off my couch (tomorrow) to train for the marathon.  If anything can make this happen, it's Kaylie.
