I have been very lucky to have amazing doctors at Rutgers and now at NYU as well as my guardian angel, Dr. Pyrsopoulos who has been with me every step of this journey and guided me to make the right decisions. The Neuroendocrine Cancer Awareness Network (NCAN) has played a big role in providing resources for me. I’ve attended several patient conferences learning more about this rare and often misdiagnosed disease. NCAN has been a source of hope, education, and support for the Neuroendocrine Cancer (NET) community since 2003.
