Emunah’s Children’s Homes provide a warm loving and secure ‘home’ for children who have suffered abuse, neglect and trauma within their own families.
What happens to these children when it is time for them to leave Emunah’s homes?
We, in Emunah, take pride that we do not abandon our children when they graduate from one of our homes.
In conjunction with Emunah Canada, the GRADCO programme was developed at the Achuzat Sara Children’s Home in Bnei Brak. The GRADCO programme, with the input of a professional staff, provides recent and upcoming graduates with the skills and guidance to succeed once they are on their own. In addition, it also offers them a place where they can return for help if the need arises.
Funds raised through the Annual Family-In-Israel Campaign will support the GRADCO programme at the Emunah Achuzat Sara Children’s Home.
“I feel great that I have people who care about me. I have self confidence. Most importantly, I know there is someone there to turn to when I need help. I feel grateful”.
