My little sister, Harlynn, was stillborn at 37 weeks. I had just turned 3 and was really looking forward to being a big sister. It didn't make sense to me that Harlynn never came home with us. That was three years ago, and we miss her every day.

 

Because of our family's experience, I am participating in the Mary-Alice & Friends 5K. Money raised from this event will be used to increase awareness, support research, promote education, and encourage advocacy and family support regarding stillbirth.
