I'm thrilled to be involved with this run for the third year in a row. This year we run in honor of Rabbi Marc Katz, who is moving on after a decade of incredible service to our CBE community, and that is a real reason to celebrate and participate. Marc is passionate about running, just as he is passionate about Judaism and our CBE community. What better tribute to him and the legacy he will leave here than to take one last lap around Prospect Park with him and raise money for CBE programming in the process. Thank you for your support
In honor of Rabbi Marc Katz who is leaving CBE after 10 years to become Senior Rabbi.
Rabbi Katz has married us, named and educated our children, and shared with us his humor and wisdom from the bimah each week. He has seen us through great joy, provided us with comfort during times of sorrow, and blessed us with his warmth. Through his leadership, our bonds to the CBE community, to one another, and to Judaism have grown deeper and stronger.
Proceeds from this event help us serve our wonderful congregation and sustain our efforts to significantly impact our greater community.
