Ride for Recovery Event
We are taking measures to ensure that our ride will not only be fun but also safe
Ride for Recovery is a community driven fundraising initiative to support the critical treatment and prevention programs & services provided at Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers. This fun fundraising event is a “Ride for Recovery” taking place each August. Riders choose from three route options ranging from 62, 30 or 15 miles. Each Rider commits to raise a pre-determined amount of money with 1OO% of the dollars raised going directly to support the critical programs and services at LGRC.
Once again this year we are going to start/end at Bike Ohio (8576 E. Washington, Chagrin Falls, OH). Registration opens at 7:00 a.m. and the first rider will start at 8:05 a.m. for the Century ride (approx. 62 miles). The medium (30 miles) and short ride (15 miles) will leave shortly after. All three routes will travel through the beautiful, rolling hillsides of pastoral Geauga County.
$30 per person
All proceeds help support Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers programs and services for adults whose lives have been affected by their own or another’s use of alcohol, drugs, problem gambling or mental illness.

About Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers:
Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers, Inc. is a private non-profit agency providing continuous service to the community since 1971. The Ride for Recovery is a fundraiser to help support the numerous programs provided to people on the path to recovery from substance use disorder or problem gambling. At every level from prevention to residential treatment services to Recovery Housing, we offer a message of hope to individuals, families, groups, and entire communities. Our goal for treatment services is to help our consumers achieve long-term recovery and an improved quality of life. The Ride for Recovery honors those people who are currently in treatment, those who are in recovery and embracing a healthy lifestyle, and remembering those who have lost their lives to substance use disorder.
We hope you will join us for our 4th Annual Ride for Recovery Event. If you can't attend we hope you will sponsor a rider or simply make a donation in support of our programs.
