MY STORY
Hi, and thank you for coming to my page!

This year I am fundraising l’ilui nishmas (in memory of) my Babi, Sahava Michelsohn, Alte Golda Chaya bas Ze’ev a"h

My grandmother was the embodiment of chesed. She lived it. Any opportunity to do, to help, to give – she was there and running the show. She was poised and beautiful and knew how to use her charisma to get others to help with causes that she found important.

She was highly active in her shul and was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother until the very end of her life. I hope that I can embody her spirit in these coming months and pluck the courage to ask as many people as possible to donate money to the JCN. And may every penny I raise move my Babi closer to the Kisai Hakavod.

As always, I am on my mother’s team, Team 10x20. When I was in 7th grade, my mother got diagnosed with an illness. It was a very scary time for my family, but aside from the fear, everything was hectic. My mother wasn't always around, and when she was, she wasn't actually available to give me a lot of attention. I was sent to different friends and it really affected my school work. The JCN set up a meeting for me and another girl going through what I was experiencing to talk and share. They brought my family presents, organized meals - even bought our family a freezer to store all the food! They helped me go to camp in the summer, and I’m certain there was a lot more that I wasn't even aware of. Thank G-d my mom is OK now, but I don’t know what we would have done without the JCN.

Our hakaras hatov is so great – please help my family give back so that more people in need can be helped. I’ve set a personal goal to raise $1,000. Please help me to get there. Please help support Team 10x20!
