MY STORY
In lieu of a gift, it would be very meaningful to me if you would donate money to help fund The Koby Mandell Foundation, an Israeli organization that works to bridge the isolation that strikes bereaved children and adults  after the loss of a loved one due to terror or tragedy. All programs, including free camps and activities, provide emotional, physical, and spiritual healing that create a network of support for bereaved children and families.
 
My bar mitzvah funds are specifically in support of Camp Koby -- which provides children of families struck by terror with a place where others understand. Camp Koby consists of a youth camp for ages 8-13 and a teen camp ages 14-17. Follow up programs consist of 2-4 day reunions during the year and an on-going Big Sister /Big Brother program.
 
My goal is to raise enough money to send a dozen or more children to Camp Koby and help the children have some time away from the every day difficulties of a family in grief, to heal from their
pain, and to have a great time with friends who really understand how they feel.
$180 will cover one day in camp. $1800 will cover a full 10 days in camp
