I am so very excited to be participating in the NEW VIRTUAL Klick't iDance4aCURE Global Dance event! All proceeds from this event directly fund Childhood Cancer Research!

 

This is my fifth year dancing for iDance4aCURE! 

 

Did you know that...

- Only 4% of the NCI budget is designated to childhood cancer research?

- Every day, 46 children are diagnosed with cancer.

- 12% of children diagnosed with cancer do not survive.

- 60% of children who do survive suffer late effects such as infertility, heart failure, and secondary cancers.

 

I am dancing in honor of Lily Weaver this year.  I met her at CureFest in DC a few years ago, gave her a painting I made, and loved listening to speak every year.  She was so brave and strong.  I am so sad to say that she passed away last December at age 18.
