During the heart of the pandemic in 2020, a seizure and subsequent MRI results completely changed my life. I had a Grade 2 glioma tumor on the left frontal part of my brain. After eight hours of awake brain surgery and three months of speech therapy, I got my life back. Thankfully, the tumor is slow-growing and treatable. I recently started taking Tibsovo, a newly FDA-approved drug. 

 

I'm blessed to be here and thankful to have the ability to take a drug to save my life. Mostly, I'm fortunate to have a caring wife, loving family and adorable corgi standing next to me as I navigate this whole new world.

 

Money raised from this event will fund Los Angeles childhood and adult brain tumor and cancer research.
