Hi everyone! I'd like to give you a little background on my husband Jaime's cancer battle and why we are participating in this race.

 

Back in December of 2021 a large tumor was found covering almost the whole left side of Jaime's head.  January 2022 the tumor was removed (grade 3 meningioma), followed by aggressive radiation and a cancer diagnosis we weren't prepared for.  Nonetheless Jaime went to work! Jaime decided he was not going to just exist in this diagnosis.  He was going to strive.  The last 9 months my husband has spent everyday making a choice to live a purposeful life.  Jaime has focused on a clean diet and active lifestyle. Although his cancer battle is not over, Jaime is a fighter and will do so everyday! 
 

As of last month, Jaime has started training for this 5k and it would be an honor if our family and friends joined along side him to be his support. Let's have fun, a good workout and raise some money for a great cause.
