What is Heroes Like Haley?
501(c)3 for kids / families with Pediatric Cancer in memory of my daughter Haley
Why sign up? Why sponsor?
Because families need OUR help..... because I never thought it would be me that needed help! That 6 letter C word can effect anybody, any time, any age..... it is not prejudice --- it will pick anyone it chooses.
The families we help didn't choose to be part of the cancer journey.... but they are - and they need our help! All net proceeds go directly to families in our community and families at Advocate Children's Hospital where Haley spent 18 months of her life fighting.
Haley said that if her journey brought awareness to Pediatric Cancer then it was worth it. I am sorry, but as her mother I don't feel it was worth it.... none of it was worth it!!! I can no longer hear her voice so, in turn, I will be her voice. I will fight with all of my being... I will fight to the end to help these families and to stop pediatric cancer!!!
Please help me and let our voices be heard!
Our overall goal is to lessen the financial strain on individuals who are embarking on the courageous battle against this terrible disease. Haley’s strength never wavered in her fight and we hope to equip others with the financial means to focus solely on the task of kicking cancer’s butt!
